Site Preparation for Sheds and Gazebos
Level Ground
Your base should be 12" larger than the building on all four sides. Although a gravel base is not required, we highly suggest that you remove 3-4" of sod and back fill it with #57 crushed limestone. The entire area should be level.
Sloped Ground
Position railroad ties crossways under the building approximately every 6 feet. Bury the railroad tie until it is flush with the ground on the high side and put concrete blocks under the railroad ties on the low side if they are needed.
