Shed and Gazebo Frequently Asked Questions
Do you build your buildings on site or are they delivered complete?
County Line Barns are all built on site unless the customer requests otherwise.
Do you sell kits so I can build it myself?
No, we do not sell kits
Is a gravel base required?
No, it is not required, however it is better than blocking. Total contact of the runners on gravel gives the barn the best stability. No gravel or blocking is needed if piers are used.
What are the delivery charges?
County Line Barns delivers free with a 20 mile radius of the store. Beyond 20 miles, there is a nominal mileage charge.
Do you have buildings in stock ready for delivery?
Most of our buildings are made to order, so we don't stock a lot of buildings. You can view our current in stock inventory, which is available for quick delivery.
What about permits?
We can provide you with drawings and specs to take to your local building department, but we do not get the permits for you.
How important is a treated floor?
As long as the building is in a dry area and ventilation is adequate, the standard floor is sufficient unless treated floor is required by code. The 2x8 treated floor is recommended when the building is used as a garage for a vehicle or in high moisture situations. All materials that are in contact with soil are pressure treated.
If permission is granted to enter yard, we are not responsible for yard damage
